About Restore UK

We are continuing our pledge to make every mortgage a green mortgage in 2008, in association with our sister charity, Restore UK.  The charity’s main aim is to invest in the protection and restoration of Britain’s natural habitat, but it also supports various environmental and bio-diversity projects around the world.

Restore UK is currently working with the charity Ripple Africa to try and halt the spread of deforestation in Malawi.  Rates of deforestation in Malawi are amongst the highest in the world, degrading the land and threatening the viability of local communities.
